Turpal Terms & Conditions

1. OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.Each experience featured on the Turpal app is provided by independent contracted suppliers on their own terms and conditions and is made available to our customers on our terms and conditions set out herein.

2.We have selected all the experiences featured on our app to provide an exciting range of memorable experiences whether for the customer contracting with us who pays our price or for the recipient nominated by that customer to receive the particular experience.

3.However, there are certain limitations on the service we offer and certain restrictions on our liability to our customers or their recipients and we ask you therefore to read the following terms and conditions carefully.

2. SUPPLIERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.When you purchased an excursion from a certain supplier you and your recipient will then become subject to the terms and conditions of business of that supplier. We may provide details of specific relevant elements of those terms and conditions on our website but you and your recipient should make your own independent enquiries of the supplier as to the Terms and Conditions which will govern the provision by them of the particular experience to you or your recipient. 

2.Where the supplier's Terms and Conditions conflict with our Terms and Conditions, the latter will prevail. .

3. PRICES

Prices of experiences are inclusive of Goods and Services (or at any other prescribed rate that may pertain at the time of booking).

5. DESCRIPTIONS, LOCATION AND TIMING

1.The description of the experience contained in our app is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time but we reserve the right to make changes to the programmed applicable to any experience without notice where such alterations have been imposed by the supplier. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

2.Where the length of an experience is mentioned in our app, this is an approximate time and given as a guide only. Unless specifically stated otherwise by us or by the supplier, you will normally take your turn along with other members of the public and there may be waiting time involved.

3.The photos on the Turpal app depict an image typically associated with or representative of the experience being provided. Inclusion of such photos does not mean that we warrant in any way that each experience will include any or all of the features depicted. 

6. HEALTH AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

Wherever appropriate we have detailed specific health, age or competency requirements insofar as known to us for each experience described on our app. We ask you to read the details of the selected activity carefully to ensure that you are aware of all such requirements. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of an experience for you or your recipient please call us for advice. 

7. AVAILABILITY

All experiences are offered subject to availability (and weather conditions on the day) and there can be no guarantee that a particular date will be available or that it will not have been withdrawn by the supplier. 

8. SAFETY STANDARDS

Many of our suppliers are subject to statutory rules and regulations in the provision of their services and all say that they observe the highest standard of safety for the experience featured. However, we cannot and have not undertaken any physical examination of the equipment, facilities or staff provided in connection with the supply of any of the experiences by the independent supplier. Inclusion of such experiences on our website does not therefore mean that we warrant in any way either the safety standards of or satisfactory performance by any of the featured suppliers.

11. CANCELLATIONS

1.Any subsequent cancellation of the booking by the beneficiary or participant may result in part or full loss of those funds previously debited.

2.Should a rescheduled booking be permitted, it will be so entirely at the discretion of the relevant merchant and subject to their terms and conditions of business.

3.Where a partial or full refund is agreed to by the relevant merchant, it must be in writing and an administration charge of 15% of the redemption value will be deducted from the amount due. 

13. INSURANCE

The very nature of our experiences means that some personal risk may be involved in taking part in the activities we offer and you should be aware of this when ordering. Many suppliers require signature of a disclaimer before they will allow participation. Our suppliers are legally obliged to carry third party liability and/or public liability insurance cover for their operations, however, we strongly advise you or your recipient to consider affecting your own additional cover.

14. PAYMENT

Payment can be made via electronic transfer or MasterCard, Visa Card, Bankcard and American Express.

15. COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaint concerning the service you have received from one of our suppliers we would like to know about it. Please write to us with your complaint and we will take the matter up with our supplier formally on your behalf. All complaints must be made in writing.
